For more than 60 years, Novasina AG has been developing, producing and selling precision measuring devices for water activity, air and material humidity, temperature and differential pressure and is known worldwide as a Swiss manufacturer and international supplier of high-quality products.
Over 30 employees in our own development, production and sales as well as over 80 sales partners all over the world ensure a global presence and high availability. We supply customers from the food, pharmaceutical, chemical, semiconductor and textile industries as well as from air conditioning and clean room technology.
The implementation of innovative ideas in precise and reproducible measurement technologies at fair market prices and taking into account customer needs are just some of our competencies and important guarantees of success. Whether handheld measuring devices, laboratory instruments, or measuring transducers for automation and control with reliable sensors, Novasina always stands for quality, accuracy and reliability.

Many companies print the slogan “the customer is at the center of our actions” on beautifully designed flyers. To ensure that this isn’t just a slogan, the appropriate attitude is required to back it up. No matter whether there is an initial interest in Novasina AG products, a purchase is imminent or the customer has enjoyed Novasina AG measurement technology for 20 years. We are always there in person if there are any questions or if there is an urgent need. We do this because it’s our passion and not because a marketing manager has printed a wonderful flyer with great slogans.

We measure quality as customers returning and not devices being sent back. Made in Switzerland is a premise that we meet with passion every day. All of Novasina AG products are completely produced in Switzerland and tested several times during the production process.
An international distributor survey in 2020 gave us a satisfaction level of over 95%. We are very proud of this.

Novasina’s History
SINA was founded in Zurich and their resistive electrolytic sensor received a patent
First measuring instrument for water activity for food and pharmaceutical prducts was launched internationaly
Name change to Nova-Sina and change of ownership
Merger with Defensor company (later Axair AG)
Integration of the firm as an independent Profit Ceenter into Axair AG (later Walter Meier)
Launch of the industrial transmitter system HygroDat 100 for relative humidity & temperature measurement
Development of the Navalyte humidity measurement cell with resistive elecrolytic measurement technology
Management Buy-Out of the Novasina and, thus, founding of an independent public limited company
Launch of the worldwide first multi-sensor transmitter system QuantaDat / nSens series
